The Road Teaches You Gratitude

There are moments on the road that remind you that life is fragile.

Sometimes trouble is very close, only God moves it away. A vehicle can break down. A journey can change. A small distance can become dangerous. When those things happen, I do not take them lightly. I look at them and I thank God.

The road can humble a person. It can remind you that your plans are not the same as your protection. You can leave early, know the route and still need mercy before you arrive.

Every person is on a journey. Some are coming from stress. Some are coming from work. Some are coming from family duty. Some are travelling with children, elders or worry in their heart.

When a person finally stops, they should not meet more stress. They should meet calm. They should meet respect. They should meet enough peace to continue the journey with gratitude.

The road is hard enough. Where a person stops should give them peace.
