What Care Should Feel Like

I want people to feel that somebody thought about their rest.

Not luxury that makes people feel small. Not performance that disappears when nobody important is looking. Just care that is steady enough to be felt.

Care is a clean room. Care is food that is honest. Care is staff who understand that the person in front of them may already be tired before they arrive.

Care is not noise. It is preparation.

We are still building, still learning and still trying to make the place better for the people who use it. A good standard is never finished. The building may stand, but the standard has to wake up every morning.
